Stupid people...

Quick Update...The girl who possibly has cancer. She was scheduled to have a biopsy of the area done today. I called the OR to check if we were on time about 30min before the procedure was scheduled and they said, Yes we are on time, but your patient isnt here. So we called her. Her Dad answered and said that they wanted more testing done before we did surgery. That his daughter isnt a "piece of meat." I mean are you kidding me? We are only trying to help her. We have done everything to do this as fast as possible in case this is bad. Yes it is surgery, but it would have taken us 30 minutes with an incision as small as 1 cm. Now he is demanding cat scratch testing. This takes 2 weeks to get back. So again this poor girl waits. And, our surgery scheduler confirmed everything with this dad and he agreed to have the surgery yesterday afternoon. I guess he also doesnt take the time to let the surgeon know they have decided to change there mind. Oh it just makes me mad for this poor girl. Her freakin father is making decisions for her that could have major implications...
