Hi, I get to guest-blog this week. Well, I finally arrived in Arizona. Needless to say, just in time for the heat wave they are having. 101, 103, 104. I guess this is a trial run to see if my new meds are working. Obviously they aren't because my first day I looked at the fan we bought last time and thought "boy, I am sure they make a stronger fan that what that is blowing". So off I went to purchase a bigger one. It works wonderful!!!! Normally it takes me 30-45 minutes in the morning to get ready. Out here, it definitely takes me 2 hours. I blow dry, sit and cool off; curl, sit and cool off; brush my teeth, sit and cool off; etc.

Not doing a whole lot, but having a relaxing time. We laid at the pool over the weekend. Sunday night we went to Maggiano's for dinner (mmmm). Tonight after I picked Kari up at work I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed because there is a place here that the lady is really good. So I go back and lay down and the lady is going "long, really long" and I agree. She does one eyebrow and says "I will be right back." I can hear her out talking on the phone. When she comes back in she holds up the mirror to me and says "Mary, do you like how I shorted under your left eyebrow? Do you want me to do the other one the same???" I am thinking, geez don't you think you should have asked me BEFORE you take off part of my brow???? Thankfully they turned out great!

Kari was off for the weekend and today at 4:00 so that has been nice. Tomorrow is my last day and then I leave Wednesday to come home. Just found out Obama is flying in here that day for ASU graduation. Hope I make it out before all that happens.
